Biography

Dmitry Stavisky is an executive and entrepreneur with successful track record building high-tech startups into successful businesses.

As a VP of International Operations at Evernote he is responsible for preparing, launching and promoting Evernote service in new international markets. Previously he was in charge of Evernote Product Development.

Earlier in his career, Dmitry held the position of Technical Leader with Massachusetts-based startup SightPath and later Cisco. Dmitry was a member of the original SightPath technical team and was responsible for service provider CDN technologies and product line. SightPath pioneered the Content Networking market and was acquired by Cisco Systems in May 2000.

Prior to SightPath, he worked as a software engineer at several Boston-based startups. He is the author of three patents in the field of distributed computing.

A native of Moscow, Dmitry graduated from Moscow University in 1986 and has a Ph.D. in Geography from the Soviet Academy of Sciences. In previous life he studied glacial climates and developed numerical atmospheric models.
