Biography

Christian Morbidoni is a researcher, project manager and software developer, his main topics of interest being Semantic Web and Open Data.
He has a Phd in informatics and since 2006 he has been working as a research fellow at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, in Ancona, Italy, where he currently lives.
Currently, in the framework of the SEMLIB EU project, he leads the development of a semantic web annotation system for digital libraries.
He collaborates with Net7, where he works at open-source, Semantic Web based projects.
With Net7, and other SMEs and open data practitioners, he recently co-founded the “Linked Open Data Italia” association :
it’s (ambitious) mission is to help in bootstrapping a (linked) data economy in Italy.
