title: Gesture design within mobile contexts
June 20th @16.00
This intensive workshop will try to convey one simple message: how we move is as important to why we move when we design with gestural interfaces.
In our 90minutes together we will look at how movement communicates to the system and how we move also directly relates to our emotional response to the systems we are using the same way our sense of site effects how we feel about eating (tasting, smell and texture).
This workshop is for anyone interested in understanding more about interaction design, designing with gestures, and the general meaning of aesthetics beyond the visual. We will be moving our bodies as we expand our minds to new possibilities of how the gestures we decide to make available effects the total experience of the systems we are designing.
